Setterlin understands the importance of constructing and renovating educational facilities to provide appropriate learning environments for students of all ages. Our planning allows renovations to continue with minimal disruption to students and teachers.

Grover Center
Ohio University Athens, OH 45701 Ohio University owner
The renovation and expansion of Grover Center, home to the College of Health and Human Services, was awarded the "Best Building Renovation" by the Athens News and was a 2001 Build Ohio Award Nominee. Only a visit to the building itself could describe it.
Rock Hill Elementary & High Schools

R.W. Setterlin Building Company was hired as the general contractor for Rock Hill Elementary and High Schools. The $14 million project was completed in late 2002.
River Valley Middle School
4182 Marion-Mount Gilead Road Caldonia, OH 43314 River Valley Schools owner
A $4M general trades package was completed for this new 65,000 square foot middle school. The school, with a 432-student capacity, was completed under an aggressive schedule. Each space "pushed the envelope" of what the state criteria would allow.
Shawnee State Natatorium
940 Second St. Portsmouth, Ohio 45662 Shawnee State owner
This project includes draining and repainting swimming pool, constructing a tile deck, refinishing locker rooms, adding new pool equipment, painting interior, adding new glass, HVAC and dehumidification system.
A $3.1M general trades contract was completed for this 55,560 square foot facility. The project included a decorative main entrance; featured mixed building materials, clerestory windows, and sloping and arched rooftops.
Lincoln Elementary

Lincoln Elementary was one of three elementary schools constructed for Springfield City Schools. Lincoln Elementary is a one story building.
Meigs Local Schools

R.W. Setterlin worked with the School District to construct an elementary school with two wings, one for grades K-2 and one for 3-5. We provided numerous services including value engineering, which saved the district $36,000, and design assistance.
New Lexington High School

R.W. Setterlin was the general trades contractor for New Lexingtons 105,000 SF HS. R.W. Setterin's value engineering, coupled with a great relationship with the superintendent, allowed them to implement changes to improve the project and ensure success.
Fairland Elementary & Middle Schools

R.W. Setterlin Building Company was hired by Fairland Local Schools to renovate and build an addition on the two existing schools (elementary and junior high).
Marion-Franklin High School

R.W. Setterlin made various renovations and improvements for Marion-Franklin High School, including window and siding replacements.
