Setterlin Continues Relationship With Ohio University

R.W. Setterlin Building Company was awarded the contract for expansion and renovation of Ohio University’s Academic and Research Center.  The project encompasses nearly 100,000 square feet and will attach the existing Irvin and Stocker Halls.

The four-story building will be finished with brick and cast stone accents.  It will be a space of learning and discovery unique in American higher education.  The structure includes two elevators, over 50 classrooms and an internal crane used for research.

The total value of the project is $30M and includes rerouting a creek at the rear of the property.  Assistant Project Manager, Jesse Fry, said “This is a great opportunity for Setterlin to build on our strong relationship with Ohio University.  We look forward to teaming up with Burgess and Niple and the rest of the subcontractors involved for a successful project.”

R.W. Setterlin Building Company was founded to provide outstanding construction services throughout Ohio. A tradition since 1935, Setterlin has built a reputation for excellence in the construction industry by continually completing projects on time, within budget and with strong satisfaction from clients.
